Samsung DC97-16985A Pump Drain, Hudson Washer

SYMPTOMS:
• Water leaks from the drain pump area or the washer does not drain.
ACTION:
• To improve quality, we changed the position of the ASSY PUMP DRAIN and ASSY WIRE HARNESS from the bottom of the TUB to the BASE of the Washer
• This improvement required us to change the ASSY GUIDE HOSE, Cover Pump, Wire Harness, and add an ASSY HOSE DRAIN, and HOLDER WIRE SADDLE.
FOR REPAIRS:
Find the serial number and production dates in the table on the next page or check the label on the washing machine for the version number. The improved models are version 01.
If the production date is on or before December 09, 2012 (Version 00), order ASSY Packing – Pump SVC Kit.
If the production date is after December 09, 2012 or the washer label displays the 01 version number, change the Drain Pump located on the Base.
You must replace the Wire Harness.
